Ratlam GIS is a digital system that uses Geographic Information System (GIS) technology at the district level for the collection, storage, management, and analysis of geographic and administrative data.
Under the initiatives of the Government of India and the Government of Madhya Pradesh, this system is being used for planning, monitoring, and effective management of development activities in the district.
The Ratlam GIS platform integrates various types of spatial information—such as road networks, drinking water supply systems, sewer lines, land use, government assets, schools, hospitals, and other public infrastructure—on a single digital map platform.
This platform assists administrative officers, departments, and other stakeholders in data-driven decision making, efficient resource utilization, and effective implementation of development schemes.
